Born in the UK, Aryeh Myers made Aliya for the third and hopefully final time just over 7 years ago. After toying with the idea of working in education, followed by a short stint in travel, he finally found his calling in the Emergency Medical Services, serving as a front-line Paramedic for the past 17 years. He qualified initially in London where he worked for a decade, and since making Aliya, he has been working for Magen David Adom – Israel’s National Emergency Rescue Service.
He has held a variety of roles in MDA, including serving as the station manager in Lod, a city near Ben Gurion Airport; has worked for MDA’s Hasbara and International Departments; and today is the regional mentor to the next generation of Paramedics.
Aryeh lives in Modiin in central Israel with his wife Zippy and their four children. As well as working too many hours, he is trying to finally get his first book published.
